By creating an account or using Massage Trades (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to provide massage therapy in the state or jurisdiction(s) where you practice in order to use the Service. By creating an account you certify that you meet this requirement and agree to keep your profile information accurate. Members are responsible for ensuring they meet all licensing, registration, certification, permit, insurance, and legal requirements applicable to their jurisdiction. Massage Trades does not independently verify professional credentials.

You are responsible for your account and for activity that happens on it. Do not impersonate others, harass other members, share login credentials, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or our community standards.

The Service uses a credit system to facilitate session trades between members. Credits are not currency, are non-transferable outside the platform, and have no cash value. Late cancellations and no-shows may result in credit penalties as described in the app. Trades are performed between members; Massage Trades is not a party to any session and does not provide massage therapy services.

Supporting Memberships and credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

Program name: Massage Trades SMS alerts.

Description: When you opt in by enabling "Text me about trade activity" in your profile, Massage Trades will send transactional SMS messages to the U.S. mobile number on your profile about your trade activity — for example, when another member sends you a trade request, or when one of your trades is accepted, declined, or cancelled.

Message frequency: Recurring, varies based on your trade activity. You will only receive messages tied to events involving your account.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

Opt-in: SMS is off by default. You must affirmatively enable the SMS toggle in your profile to receive texts.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS. You can also disable the SMS toggle in your profile.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major U.S. carriers.

Privacy: We do not share or sell your phone number or SMS consent information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You retain ownership of content you post (bio, photos, messages). By posting it, you grant Massage Trades a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform. Do not post content that infringes others' rights or is unlawful, defamatory, or sexually explicit.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Massage Trades does not independently verify the credentials, skill, training, or character of individual members. You are responsible for evaluating any member, confirming their credentials, and performing your own due diligence before scheduling a session, and for your own safety.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Massage Trades and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
